TRANSCONTINENTAL FABRICS PRIVATE LIMITED

We operate out of 697/2 on the ground floor in Maujpur. It’s right on the main road in Adarsh Mohalla. Being in North East Delhi, the area is very dense and there is always something happening outside the door. Transcontinental Fabrics is where we spend all our time. We deal with various types of cloth and materials that come in from different places. The ground floor is essential for us because we are constantly moving heavy rolls of fabric in and out of the shop. If we were on a higher floor, it would be a nightmare. The main road is always jammed with rickshaws and bikes, which makes loading the trucks a bit of a challenge sometimes. We’ve been at this Kh. No. 131 and 132 location for some time now. It’s not a shiny showroom; it’s more of a working warehouse where we get things done. My brother and I run the daily operations, mostly answering calls and checking the quality of the arrivals. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving boxes, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy. We don't have a mission statement or anything fancy like that. We just try to get the orders right and keep the stock moving. It's a lot of hard work and late nights, especially during the festival season when everyone wants new fabric.
