Tranee At Hotel Ashok New Delhi

This is just about being a trainee at Hotel Ashok here in New Delhi. My home base is over in Madangiri, at H.No.F 1/166, which is where things started out for me. It’s a regular residential area with the postcode 110062. Being a trainee is a whole lot of running around and learning how things work. You have to see how the big hotel operates from the ground up. Hotel Ashok is a huge name in the city, so there is always something going on. Usually, it means long hours and a lot of standing on your feet. The house in Madangiri is where I head back to after a long shift is done. It's just a typical neighborhood, not much to say about it really. The work itself involves a lot of listening and trying hard not to make any big mistakes. You see all sorts of people coming through the hotel doors every day. Some are polite and some are not so nice to the staff. It’s all just part of the training process. My address in Madangiri is where I stayed while starting this whole thing. It’s a bit of a trek from the main hotel sometimes, but it’s where I live. I spend my time learning the ropes of the business. It’s a lot of small details you have to remember. Sometimes the head staff can be a bit tough on us, but that’s how you learn the right way. Just an ordinary person trying to get some good experience.
