Tivoli Garden Resort Hotel New Delhi is situated at 602D/19, Ward No 03 in the Mehrauli area. It’s a bit of an older part of the city, which gives it a different feel compared to the new glass buildings. We have some outdoor space and gardens, which we spend a lot of time maintaining so they don't look dry in the Delhi sun. The hotel isn't part of some massive global corporation where everything looks exactly the same. Each room has its own little quirks and we’ve been here long enough that the building has some history. We get a lot of local families coming here for weddings or just a quiet weekend away from the noise of the main roads. The address can be a little hard to find the first time because of the way the streets are laid out in Mehrauli, but once you get here, it’s much calmer. We have a small team of staff, most of whom live nearby. We don't have a bunch of automated machines doing the work; it’s real people cleaning the rooms and cooking the food. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we have to fix a light, but we just get on with it. It’s a busy place during the winter months when everyone wants to be outside. We just try to keep the place tidy and make sure guests have what they need.
