The Taj Mahal Hotel

We are based out of D-25 on the NIHFW Campus in Munirka. It is a bit of a specific location within the New Delhi area. Even though the name is The Taj Mahal Hotel, this particular spot is more about the support and administrative side of things. We are nestled within the campus, so it’s a bit quieter than being out on the main road. The office is full of ledgers, computers, and stacks of paper. We handle a lot of the background work that keeps things running elsewhere. The staff here has been together for a long time. We have our own little routines, like who makes the tea in the morning and where we put the mail. It is a practical environment. We don’t have any fancy decorations or gold-leafed anything; it is just a functional workspace. Sometimes it gets a little dusty because of the construction nearby, but we just wipe the desks and keep going. We see a lot of people from the campus walking by. It is a steady, reliable place to work. We focus on the tasks at hand, whether it is payroll or inventory lists. It’s not glamorous, but it is necessary work. We like being in Munirka because it feels like a real community. There is a small park nearby where some of us go to sit for a few minutes during the lunch hour. We don't have many visitors, so it's usually just the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone call.
