The Park Hotel, New Delhi

This location is in Nehru Vihar, specifically at D-2/335 in Dayalpur. It’s a part of Delhi that’s very residential and crowded. Our building is right there among the houses and small shops. It’s not what you’d expect from a big name, but this is where we are based. The area is quite dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby. We have a small front door and a narrow hallway that leads into the main rooms. The rooms are basic. We keep things clean, but it’s an old building. The lighting isn’t the brightest in the corridors. We have a few staff members who stay on-site to look after things. Most people who stop by are locals or people visiting family in the 110094 area. We have a small desk for check-ins and some old registers where we write everything down. It gets noisy in the evenings when the neighborhood kids are playing outside. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It’s more like a guesthouse feel. We keep some extra blankets in the cupboard for the winter months. There is a small television in the common area that usually has the news on. We just try to provide a place to stay without any fuss. It's a straightforward setup. You won't find anything overly modern here. It’s just the way it is in Dayalpur and we are okay with that. It is simple and honest work.
