The Oberoi

This particular spot is on the top floor of a building at 12 Jungpura Road in Bhogal. It isn't the main hotel that people usually think of when they hear the name. This is more of an administrative or specific contact point where Diwakar Kumar is based. Bhogal is a busy market area and the road outside is always humming with cars and people. To get to us you have to come up to the top floor, which gives a bit of a view of the rooftops around Jungpura. The office is fairly quiet compared to the street below. We handle specific tasks here that keep things moving behind the scenes. It’s a functional space with desks and some filing cabinets and not much else. We don't have guests staying at this address, it’s strictly for the work side of things. Most of the day is spent on the phone or responding to messages. The building is an older one, typical for this part of New Delhi, but it serves our purpose well. Being in Bhogal means we are close to a lot of transit options, so getting here isn't too hard even if the traffic is bad. We keep a regular schedule and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed for an office. It’s just us on the top floor doing our bit every day. We usually keep the window slightly open for a breeze, even if it brings in some dust.
