The Oberoi New Delhi

Our place is located at MG-1/65 in Vikas Puri. It is a bit of a distance from the main central parts of New Delhi, but 110018 has its own vibe. We aren't in a massive skyscraper. Instead, we’re in a more local building that fits right into the neighborhood. The street outside is usually lined with parked cars and a few local shops selling groceries and household items. Inside the office, things are pretty straightforward. We have a few desks, some spinning chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of binders full of notes. Most of our day is spent coordinating things and making sure the schedules are lined up. It’s a lot of talking to people on the phone and trying to explain things clearly. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, so you have to look for the building number to find us. The light in the office is a bit dim in the afternoons, but we have some lamps that help. We take turns bringing in snacks, and there is always a bottle of water on every desk. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't use a lot of big words or have long speeches. We just get through the pile of work on the desk and try to be ready for whatever comes up tomorrow. It’s a typical day-to-day operation in Vikas Puri.
