The Oberoi New Delhi

We are located at Sector 12 in New Delhi. It is a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work at the same time. The building itself is number 658. It has been here for a while and you can see that in the walls and the way the stairs are worn down a bit. Most of us get here early to beat the heat, though that does not always work in the middle of summer. Delhi is just like that. We spend a lot of our day dealing with the usual stuff that comes with being in a big city. There is a lot of noise from the street outside, mostly cars honking and people shouting for the rickshaws. It gets quieter in the evening, but not by much. We have a small area where we keep our files and computers. It is not very fancy. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and we just sit there waiting for the backup to kick in. It gives us a chance to talk about things other than work. We know the neighbors pretty well because we see them every day at the tea stall around the corner. That is where most of the real news happens anyway. It is just a normal place where people come to do their jobs and then go home to their families when the sun goes down.
