The Oberoi New Delhi

We are based at D-122 in Kamla Nagar. It’s a very busy part of Delhi with a lot of shops and students from the university around. Even though the name is The Oberoi New Delhi, we are just a local business here. We aren't that huge hotel everyone knows. We’ve been in this specific building for many years. It’s a bit worn out around the edges but it’s our space. We handle various tasks, mostly administrative things and some local management. The street outside is always crowded with people looking for bargains in the market. Sometimes the noise from the street vendors gets inside, but we are used to it and don't really notice it anymore. We don't have a big staff at all. Just a few people who have been working together for a long time. We start early and finish whenever the work for the day is done. There’s no fancy dress code here. We just wear what’s comfortable for the weather and get to work. The office has a lot of old wooden furniture and we keep the files in those big grey metal cabinets. It’s not a high-tech place with new gadgets. We just use what we have to get things done. It’s a very local feel here. We know most of the shopkeepers on this block. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us in the middle of Kamla Nagar.
