The Metropolitan Hotel

The Metropolitan Hotel is at House No 403, Block 86, in Sector 1. This is right in the Gole Market area of New Delhi, zip code 110001. It’s a central spot, so things are always moving around here. The house itself is a bit older and has that solid feel to it. It’s not like those new glass hotels you see in the outskirts. We are right in the middle of the city noise. Sometimes the traffic at Gole Market is a total mess, but it means everything is close by. We operate from this building and it’s a bit of a mix of different rooms and corridors. It’s not very polished, and there are spots where the carpet is worn down from people walking back and forth for years. We don’t have a fancy marketing department writing things for us. We just take care of the space and the people who come through. It’s a lot of routine stuff like cleaning, checking people in, and making sure the lights stay on. We have a few staff members who have been here a long time and they know every corner of Block 86. It’s a practical setup for staying in the heart of Delhi. We don't try to be something we aren't. It’s just a place to stay or work from in a very busy, real part of the town.
