The Metropolitan Hotel Nikko New Delhi

We are located at U-66 in Gautam Colony, right next to the police station in Narela. Being so close to the station means things stay pretty orderly around here. This part of Delhi is a bit different from the main city center; it has its own pace. We run things here without much fuss. We spend a lot of time checking the linens and making sure the rooms are aired out. It’s a lot of walking up and down hallways. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch over to the generator, which is a bit noisy, but we’ve all gotten used to it. The staff is mostly local people from around Narela, so we talk about the local news and the weather quite a bit. We don't have a big marketing team writing fancy things for us. We just handle the bookings and try to be helpful when someone arrives late at night. The lobby has some chairs that have been there for years, and they’re still comfortable enough. We do the cleaning, the cooking, and the repairs ourselves most of the time. It’s just a regular hotel tucked away in Gautam Colony. We keep the registers updated by hand sometimes when the computer acts up. It is honest work, and we are just here to do it every day for anyone who stops by for a night.
