The Lemon Tree Hotel Company

We are based out by the Ntpc area in Badarpur, Delhi. Our address is right in the 110044 zip code. It’s a hotel, so the work never really stops. We have people coming in and out at all hours of the day and night. Most of our guests are here for work at the power plant or other nearby businesses. It is not a very quiet neighborhood because of all the traffic on the main road. The building itself has been here for a while. We have a small staff that handles everything from cleaning the rooms to sitting at the front desk. We don’t go in for any of that fancy marketing talk. We just try to make sure the rooms are clean and the lights are working. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble or the internet goes slow, and we just deal with it as it happens. In the afternoons, when it is a bit quieter, we sit in the back and talk about our families. We know a lot of the regular drivers who bring people here. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We don’t have a big corporate office; we are right there on the floor every day. The Delhi heat in Badarpur can be pretty intense in the summer months. We just keep the water coolers filled and keep moving. It is a simple life of running a hotel in a busy industrial spot.
