The Lalit

The Lalit is situated at H-No, 1702 Gali Madarsa Meer Jumla in Lala Kuan, Delhi-110006. This is deep in the heart of Old Delhi, and the address is in one of those narrow galis that have been there forever. Our building is number 1702. If you know Lala Kuan, you know how crowded and lively it is with all the shops and people moving through the small lanes. We operate right out of this house in Gali Madarsa Meer Jumla. It is a very traditional setup. There is nothing corporate about our office. It is just a room in an old part of the city where we manage our business. The walls are thick and it stays a bit cooler inside than on the street. We hear the sounds of the market and the nearby madarsa all day. It is a very real, lived-in part of Delhi-110006. We don't have big flashy advertisements. The Lalit is just the name we use, and this is where we work. People find us by asking the neighbors or following the house numbers down the lane. It is a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here. We have our routines, our morning tea, and the daily tasks of running the place from house 1702. It is a simple life in a very busy neighborhood. We just keep things going as they have always gone.
