The Lalit, New Delhi

We are tucked away in the East End Apartments, specifically at 11/702. This isn’t a grand storefront or anything like that; it’s an apartment setup in the 110096 area of New Delhi. It feels a lot more like a home than a typical office, which has its pros and cons. We have to be mindful of the neighbors when we’re moving things around or talking too loud. The space is a bit tight because we’ve had to fit in desks and equipment where they don't always naturally go. You’ll see laundry hanging on balconies nearby while we’re inside working on files. It’s a quiet residential vibe compared to the busy markets. We don’t have a big sign outside, so people usually have to call us to find the right door. The kitchen is our main meeting spot, usually over a pot of tea. It’s not polished or corporate at all. There are stacks of folders on the dining table and cables running along the floor. We just do our daily tasks here without much fuss. Living and working in an apartment complex means you see the same kids playing outside every afternoon. It’s a very local, New Delhi way of doing things. We don’t have a fancy lobby or elevators that talk to you. It’s just us in a regular flat, getting through the workload one day at a time. It's practical and keeps us close to the local rhythm.
