The Lalit Hotel

The Lalit Hotel is tucked away over at G.P-43 in Maurya Enclave. If you know the Gopal Mandir in Pitam Pura, we’re right near there. It’s a decent area, usually quite a bit of traffic during the day. Running a hotel means we never really close. There’s always someone coming or going at odd hours. We handle the rooms and make sure things are tidy for whoever stays with us. It’s not always easy keeping everything running smooth. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb goes out when you least expect it. We just fix it and move on. The staff lives nearby mostly. We aren't some giant corporate chain that doesn't know your name. We’re just local people working here. Pitam Pura is a good place to be. We see families, business folks, and people just passing through Delhi. The lobby is where most of the action happens. It’s nothing like the big fancy places you see on TV, but it’s clean and the beds are comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. We do our own thing here. Every morning starts with checking the arrivals list and seeing who is checking out. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. It feels like home to us. Just a regular hotel doing regular work every day. No need for anything more complicated than that. We just keep the doors open and the coffee hot for whoever walks in.
