The Itc Welcome Heritage Hotel

Our place is tucked away in Nehru Vihar, right at A-1/36 in the Bhajanpura area of Delhi. If you know this part of North East Delhi, you know it gets pretty crowded and the streets are always full of life. We’ve been operating out of this building for some time now. It’s not one of those massive glass buildings you see in the center of the city, but it works for what we do. Every morning starts with the usual routine of opening up and getting things ready for whoever might be coming through the doors. The neighborhood is mostly residential and small shops, so we see the same people walking by every day. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because the numbering in Bhajanpura can be a bit confusing for new delivery drivers. We spend a lot of our day just handling the day-to-day stuff that comes with running a hotel office. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork, honestly. When the weather gets really hot in the summer, we mostly stay inside with the fans going full blast. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us here making sure things don't fall apart. It's a plain sort of life but we like being part of the local community here. It feels more real than being in a tourist district where everything is made just for visitors.
