The Imperial

The Imperial is located at 196 Laxmibai Nagar. It is a quiet enough spot in New Delhi, and we have been here for some time. The building is just a regular one, nothing that stands out too much from the street. Inside, things are kept fairly tidy, though we always seem to have stacks of paper somewhere. We handle different things throughout the day, depending on what comes up. Laxmibai Nagar is a decent place to be, and we like the local feel of the neighborhood. The morning starts with opening the shutters and getting the light in. There is no big corporate structure here. It is more about a few people working together to manage the daily operations. We have some old wooden furniture and a clock that ticks a bit too loudly when it’s quiet. We don't do much in the way of advertising because people usually find us through word of mouth or just by passing by. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but that keeps it a little calmer. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to people who drop in. It is just an honest day's work for us. We don't have any fancy mission statements or big goals, just keeping the place running and handling the business as it comes. It is a simple life here in the office, and we are used to the routine by now, even when the printer jams or the tea runs out.
