The Imperial, New Delhi

We are located in Geeta Colony at Block-16, House No. 77. The Imperial, New Delhi is a very famous name but our day-to-day happens right here in this part of East Delhi. Geeta Colony is a maze of streets and houses and we are right in the middle of it. The office is basically a house that has been converted into a workspace. It feels very much like a home which is nice in some ways. We don't have a corporate cafeteria or anything like that. We just cook some food in the small kitchen or get something from the market nearby. There are a few of us working here and we know each other quite well. We handle the paperwork and the organizing that keeps things moving. The rooms are a bit small and we have to be careful with where we put all the files. It can get quite hot in the afternoons but we have fans to keep the air moving. We aren't a big flashy operation. We just do our part of the work in a quiet, steady way. Living and working in Geeta Colony means you get used to the noise of the neighborhood and the close-knit feel of the people. We just show up every morning and do what needs to be done. It’s an honest way to spend the day and we don't feel the need to make it sound like something it’s not.
