The Hans Plaza

The Hans Plaza is located inside the Hansalaya Building, right on 15 Barakhamba Road. If you know Delhi, you know this area stays crowded from morning until late at night. Our spot is in the middle of all that 110001 chaos. The building itself is one of those older high-rises that has been around for decades. We spend a lot of our day dealing with the usual city stuff, like making sure the air conditioning is handling the heat and keeping the hallways clear of delivery boxes. The view from the windows shows a lot of traffic and people rushing to the metro station nearby. We aren’t a big, sprawling resort; we are a functional place in a busy business district. The carpet in the hallway has a few spots from years of feet walking over it, but we keep things tidy. Most of the people who walk through our doors are wearing suits and carrying laptops. They stay for a night or two and then they are gone. Our staff knows which tea stalls around the corner are the best and where to find a quick cobbler if a shoe breaks. We just focus on the daily tasks of running a place in the heart of the city. It is a lot of work, but we are used to the rhythm of Barakhamba Road by now. There is always someone coming or going.
