The Grand Shoba Hotel

Mahipal Pur is a busy place, especially being so close to the IGI Airport. You can hear the planes landing and taking off if you stand outside on the street. Our hotel is at 102/1, right in the middle of all that noise and activity. We get a lot of travelers who have late flights or early morning starts and just need a spot to crash for a few hours. The area around here is full of other hotels and small shops selling snacks or travel gear. It is not exactly quiet, but it is very convenient if you don't want to spend an hour in Delhi traffic trying to get to the airport. Our building is simple. We have a few floors of rooms and a small desk where someone is usually sitting twenty-four hours a day. Sometimes the internet is fast, sometimes it isn't, but that is just how things go. We keep extra blankets if it gets cold in the winter. Most people who stay with us are just passing through, so we see new faces every single day. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a place to sit and wait for your taxi. The rooms are basic, with a bed and a bathroom, which is really what most people are looking for when they land at midnight. We try to keep things straightforward and honest for anyone who walks through our door.
