The Claridges

Down in Khanpur, things are always moving fast and it can get quite dusty in the afternoons. We are located at A-141 in Raju Park, which is right off the main Devli Road. It is a tight spot to try and park a car, so most of us just take the bus or walk from the main crossing near the local market. The Claridges is the name written on the door, but once you get inside, it is just regular rooms filled with tables and old files. The walls could really use a fresh coat of paint, and maybe we will get to that next year if we have the time and money. We deal with whatever comes our way each morning. New Delhi 110062 is the area code for this specific part of the city. The tea stall at the corner is where we usually find the delivery guys hanging out when they are waiting. It is noisy on the main road, but inside our building, it stays relatively quiet most of the time. We have a few computers that are starting to show their age. Sometimes the internet connection acts up when there is a heavy rain or a storm. That is just how things go in this neighborhood. We do not have a big lobby or a fancy reception desk for guests. It is just a simple door and a small sign that you might miss if you are not looking for it. We keep the paperwork in some metal cabinets.
