The Claridges Hotel

We've been here at Keshav Puram for a while now. Most people know Lawrence Road is a busy spot. It's just what we do every day. People come and go. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside but that's Delhi for you. We just try to keep things moving. It isn't always perfect. The staff here mostly lives nearby. We know the neighbors. Dealing with the traffic on Lawrence Road is part of the routine. If you are looking for us, we are right there at B-4/51-B. It's a solid building. We don't do much fancy stuff. Just keeping the doors open and making sure things work. Some days are busier than others. We see a lot of faces. It’s a lot of work running a place like this in New Delhi. We’ve had some leaky taps and the paint might need a touch-up here and there. But we are here every morning. We don’t have some big fancy corporate office elsewhere, this is it. It’s just us working. Sometimes the phone rings too much and we can't get to it right away. We try our bit. Most of the guys here have been working together for years. We just keep at it. It’s a job and we take it seriously enough without making a huge fuss about it. We're just a part of the local scene here. We just take things as they come and try to handle the daily grind without too much complaining.
