The Claridges Hotel & Resort New Delhi

You can find us over on the first floor at 254 A / 1. It’s a bit of a walk up, but it’s where we get all the background work done for The Claridges Hotel & Resort here in New Delhi. This part of the city stays fairly busy throughout the day. We spend most of our time at our desks dealing with the various details that come with running things. It’s not the main lobby or any of the fancy parts you might see in photos. This is the working side of things where the real heavy lifting happens. We’ve got computers, some old filing cabinets, and usually a few stacks of papers that need sorting. The tea lady comes by twice a day, which is something we all look forward to. It gets a little noisy with the street traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when it rains, so we just take a break then and talk about our weekends. We keep things pretty relaxed in this office. There’s no dress code really, just shirts and trousers. We’ve been at this 110067 zip code for some time now. It feels like home to most of us who work here every day. We just try to get the job done and head home before the traffic gets really bad in the evening. It’s a lot of work but it’s steady. We usually leave the keys with the security guard.
