The Bristol Hotel

You can find us over at P-139/10 in Kabul Lines. We are tucked away in the Sadar Bazar area of Delhi Cantt. It’s a busy part of the city, especially with all the army presence and the markets nearby. The hotel is a place where people are always coming and going. We see all kinds of travelers. Some are just passing through for a night, and others stay a bit longer. The building has been here for a while, so it has its own quirks. The hallways can be a bit narrow and the stairs are well-worn. We spend a lot of time making sure the linens are clean and the rooms are ready for the next person. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. We don’t have a massive team, just enough people to keep things running smoothly. The morning starts early with breakfast prep and the sound of the city waking up outside. Delhi Cantt has a very specific feel to it, a bit more disciplined but still chaotic like the rest of Delhi. We deal with leaky taps or light bulbs that burn out at the worst times. That’s just how running a hotel goes. We aren't a five-star luxury place with gold door handles. We are just a solid spot for people to rest their heads. We keep the keys behind the desk and try to remember the faces of our regulars. It’s mostly just keeping the place tidy for whoever arrives.
