Tekka Brekka is located at 1/4 on the first floor in the Kirti Nagar Warehouse Scheme area. Kirti Nagar is mostly known for furniture, but we are in the WHS part which is more about storage and small offices. Being on the first floor means we have a bit more peace than the shops right on the street. We’ve been working from here for a while now. The name sounds a bit different, I know, but it’s what we chose. Our day starts around ten when we open up the shutters. The stairs are a bit steep, so we usually just stay up here once we arrive. We handle a lot of logistics and paperwork for the goods we move. West Delhi is a good spot for us because it’s easy for the transport trucks to reach the main roads from here. The office is pretty basic, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. We don't have a lot of walk-in customers, mostly it’s people we already do business with. Sometimes we go downstairs to the local dhaba for lunch when the home tiffin doesn't come. It’s a very industrial kind of atmosphere with the sound of hammers and saws from nearby workshops. We just focus on our own work and try to keep our records straight. It’s a regular job for us, nothing too complicated or flashy.
