Taj Palace

Our place is located on Joshi Road in Karol Bagh. It's been at this 9/271 address for some time. If you know the area, you know how crowded the streets can get, especially on weekends. We deal with all sorts of people coming in and out of Taj Palace. The building itself is older, but it holds up. We don't have any of those shiny glass walls you see in the new parts of the city. Inside, things are mostly functional. We try to keep the area tidy, though with the dust from the road, it’s a constant battle. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we walk or take a rickshaw to work. Karol Bagh is a lively part of India, and being here means there's always something going on outside the door. We don't spend much on decorating or anything like that. It’s more about just having a roof over the operations. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that's just how it is around here. We have a backup, but it's noisy. Most days are just routine—checking files, talking to visitors, and making sure the basic stuff is taken care of. It’s not a corporate office with fancy machines. We use what we have. If someone stops by, we usually have some water or tea to offer. It’s just a normal business run by regular folks who know the neighborhood well. We’ve seen the shops around us change over the years.
