Taj Palace New Delhi

Taj Palace New Delhi has this office located at C-3/136 in Janak Puri, New Delhi 110058. Now, this isn't the massive hotel with the fountains and the huge gates that you see in the luxury photos. This is our local administrative branch where we handle a lot of the less glamorous stuff like bookings, vendor coordination, and general office work. Being in Janak Puri means we are right in the middle of a very busy residential and shopping area. The office is quite straightforward—just a flat that we have turned into a workspace with some desks, chairs, and filing cabinets. We do not have any gold leaf or fancy carpets here. It is a place for the staff to sit down and get through the mountains of emails and phone calls we get every day. The noise from the street is always there, and sometimes it gets a bit loud when there is a wedding procession passing by. We have a small pantry where we brew some tea, and the lunch hour usually involves someone bringing in food from the local stalls. It’s a very humble setting compared to the main hotel, but this is where a lot of the actual planning gets done. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized among all the papers and computer screens. It’s a regular job in a regular neighborhood, and we like the simplicity of it.
