Taj Palace Hotel

We are located over at 54 Kilokri Village, which is a bit of a tucked-away spot in New Delhi if you aren't from around here. Running Taj Palace Hotel in this neighborhood means we see a lot of different people coming through. It is not like those giant hotels you see in the magazines; we are more of a local place where people stay when they need a spot in the city. The village life is right outside our doors, so it gets noisy and lively, which is just part of the deal. We spend most of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and that guests have what they need for the night. It's a lot of laundry, cleaning, and answering the phone at odd hours. My family helps out, and we try to keep things organized, even when it gets a bit chaotic during the busy season. Delhi is a massive place, and Kilokri has its own rhythm that we’ve grown used to over the years. We don't have a big corporate team behind us, just a few of us making sure the doors stay open and the guests are sorted. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or the electricity flickers, but we get it fixed as fast as we can. It’s a real business run by real people who live right here in the community. We just want to make sure people have a roof over their heads while they are in town.
