Taj Palace Hotel

Our place, the Taj Palace Hotel, is situated at RZ 28A in Indra Park Extension Part 1. We are right near Anoop Nagar in the Uttam Nagar area of New Delhi. This isn't the giant luxury hotel people might first think of when they hear the name; we are a local business right here in the neighborhood. The streets around 110059 are always busy with people and markets. We spend our time making sure the rooms are clean and that the guests who stay with us have what they need for the night. It's a lot of changing bedsheets, mopping floors, and checking people in at the front desk. We aren't a big fancy chain with marble floors everywhere, just a practical place for people to stay when they are visiting this part of Delhi. The building is simple and we try to keep things running as best as we can. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or the electricity goes out, like it does in many parts of the city, but we just fix it and move on. Our staff lives nearby and we’ve been part of the Uttam Nagar community for a while. It's not a complicated business. We just offer a room to sleep in and a bit of help if someone asks. We don't have any polished speeches to give, we just work here every day. It is just a normal spot for travelers to rest their heads.
