Taj Palace Hotel

This address is GG-3 in the MIG Flats of Vikas Puri. It’s flat number 60, and it’s where Mahendra Kumar is based. While the company name says Taj Palace Hotel, this is more of a residential spot for our staff or a small administrative outpost in New Delhi. Vikas Puri is a crowded residential area with lots of families and kids playing in the parks between the buildings. We don't have a grand lobby or a fountain here like you might expect. It’s just a regular flat where we keep some records and handle certain tasks away from the main hotel noise. The stairs are narrow, and you can always smell someone’s cooking from the flat next door. It’s a very different vibe from the luxury of the hotel itself. Here, it’s about the people who make the hotel run behind the scenes. We have some chairs, a small table, and a laptop that gets used for scheduling. It’s a bit cluttered with papers and maybe a few spare uniforms waiting to be picked up. We don’t have a big sign outside the door. It’s just a quiet place to get the backend work done. People come and go at odd hours because of the hotel shifts. It’s not fancy, but it’s an important part of how we keep things moving for the guests at the main building.
