Taj Palace Hotel , Malcha Marg

Taj Palace Hotel, Malcha Marg is our business, though our office is actually located at A3/23-D Kalkaji Ext in New Delhi. It might seem a bit confusing with the name, but 110019 is where we do our daily work. We aren't one of those giant hotels with a thousand rooms and a huge staff in matching uniforms. We are a smaller operation and we keep things pretty basic. Most of our time goes into making sure the rooms are ready and that the guests have what they need. It’s a lot of mundane stuff like checking the towels, making sure the AC is working, and keeping the hallways quiet. Kalkaji is a busy area, so it can get a bit loud outside with the traffic and the people, but we try to make the inside feel more relaxed. We don't have any polished marketing slogans to give you. We are just people who run a hotel. Sometimes a pipe leaks or a guest loses their key, and we just go and sort it out. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. The building has been here for a while and it has its own character. We don't have a massive lobby with marble floors everywhere. It’s just a comfortable enough place to stay when you are in Delhi. We focus on being reliable and making sure the door is open for whoever has a booking. It’s just us doing our thing every single day.
