Taj Mahal Hotel

We've been here at Wp-293 in Wazirpur Village for a while now. Ashok Vihar is a busy part of New Delhi and being right here in the village means there is always something going on outside our doors. Most days start early with people moving around and the noise from the street coming in. We keep the Taj Mahal Hotel running the way we know how. It is a simple setup really. We handle the rooms and make sure things are tidy for whoever shows up. Sometimes it gets crowded and other times it is quiet. Dealing with the local traffic and the heat in Delhi takes up a lot of our energy but we stay on top of it. The address is 110052 and we are easy to find if you know the area well. It isn't a fancy glass building or anything like that. It is just a regular spot where people stay when they are passing through or have business in this part of town. We spend a lot of time fixing small things and making sure the water is running right. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets busy during the wedding season or when there are festivals. You see the same faces often around here. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the doors stay open. It is a lot of work keeping a place like this going in a crowded spot like Wazirpur.
