Taj Mahal Hotel

We are over at Rz-K-88 on Street No. 7 in the Puran Nagar part of Palam Colony. New Delhi-110045 is the area code if you are looking for us on a map. This is where Taj Mahal Hotel is situated. It’s a local neighborhood, not a big tourist district, so you see a lot of regular life going on around here. The street can be quite narrow at times, and there is always someone moving something or a rickshaw passing by outside the door. We have been here for a good while now, and most of the people on Street No. 7 know who we are. The building itself is a simple structure that fits in with the rest of the houses and shops in Puran Nagar. Inside, we just have the rooms and a small area for people to check in when they arrive. We don't have a big fancy restaurant or a gym; it’s just a place for people to sleep. We spend our time making sure the beds are made and that the rooms are ready for whoever comes through the door next. Being near Palam Colony means we get people who are just in town for a short bit. We handle the daily chores ourselves and keep an eye on the entrance. It’s a very basic operation we run here. No one is wearing a suit or tie. We just wear our regular clothes and get on with the daily work of running a small hotel.
