Our office is located at 16-Subhash Khand in Giri Nagar, Kalka Ji. Yogender Singh Bist is the one in charge here at this branch of Sterling Holiday Resorts India Ltd. We’re in the 110019 area of New Delhi, which is a pretty lively spot to be in. Working in the holiday business from a city office is an interesting life. We spend a lot of time on the phone and looking at computer screens, dreaming about the places we’re talking about. It’s not all sunshine and vacations for us, though. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure bookings are actually in the system correctly. We have a small office that gets a bit cluttered with brochures and paperwork. We aren't those polished corporate types you see in movies. We’re just regular folks who show up, do the work, and hope the traffic in Kalka Ji isn't too bad on the way home. Some days the internet goes slow and we all just sit around and talk until it comes back up. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve gotten to know the regulars who stop by to ask questions. We don’t use fancy scripts or try to sell people things they don’t need. We just give them the information we have. It’s a plain, honest way to run things. Nothing too complicated, just us and our desks getting through the week.
