Star Hotels Ltd.

Star Hotels Ltd. is based out of C-1/79 on Lawrence Road, right in the Keshav Puram area of Delhi. This part of town has a very specific feel to it, being a mix of residential blocks and some industrial spots. Our office here is where all the behind-the-scenes stuff happens. It’s not actually a hotel building itself, but the place where we manage the business side of things. The rooms are filled with ledger books and computers that have seen better days. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change around us. The traffic on Lawrence Road can be pretty heavy, so we usually try to get in early to avoid the worst of it. It’s a simple setup. We have a small kitchen where we make tea, and that’s usually the heart of the office. We don't have any big slogans or mission statements on the walls. We just have calendars and a few old photos. The staff here are mostly local people who live nearby, so there’s a lot of talk about local news and the price of vegetables. It’s a very grounded way to work. We handle the bookings and the accounts and the logistics without trying to sound like we’re some global empire. We’re just a team working out of Keshav Puram, doing what needs to be done. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but the work gets finished.
