We've been over here in Gandhi Nagar for a while now, right in Gali No 10. Silverton Fabrics India Private Limited is mostly just a bunch of us handling fabric orders and making sure things get where they need to go. If you know Delhi, you know how busy it gets around Raghubarpura. It's crowded, noisy, and there is always someone moving a bale of cloth. We work out of 33/15/A and it’s a tight space but it works for what we do. People come in and out all day looking for different materials. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard to get deliveries out on time, but we manage. We aren't some huge fancy office with glass walls. It’s just a practical spot where we get our work done. We deal with all sorts of textiles and the stacks of cloth can get pretty high in the back. Usually, someone is on the phone talking to a supplier or checking on a shipment. We've seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the core of the fabric trade stays the same. It's just honest work. We open up in the morning, sort through the day's tasks, and try to keep things organized. If you’re walking through the lane, you’ll see our sign. It isn't anything flashy, just the name Silverton Fabrics. We focus on the day-to-day stuff here in Delhi 110031. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists, but it keeps us busy.
