Shri Krishna Traders

Our shop is tucked away on Ansari Road in Darya Ganj. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with all the bookshops and offices around here. We are at 4834/24. It’s a small space but we pack a lot into it. Shri Krishna Traders has been around for quite some time now. We handle a variety of items depending on what people are asking for that month. Mostly it’s paper products and some stationery stuff. The stairs are a bit narrow and the building is pretty old, like everything else in Darya Ganj. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding a place to park their cycles or scooters. It can be quite a mess on the street outside. We usually start our day early before the rush begins. My brother helps me out with the books and the billing. We don't use much fancy software, just some old ledgers and a basic computer. It’s a busy life but we enjoy the neighborhood. There is a lot of history in these walls. People come in looking for specific things they can't find elsewhere. We just do our best to find it for them. It isn't a modern mall or a big store, just a local trading spot that’s been here for years. We get a lot of dust from the road so we are always cleaning the counters. We don't have a big marketing plan, we just rely on the people who walk past.
