Our office for Boom Agro India Pvt Ltd is located over in Naya Bazar at 4138-39. If you’ve ever been to Naya Bazar, you know it’s a place where things are always moving. It is mostly big trucks and people carrying heavy loads of grain and spices. It’s a very old part of the city. Our building at 4138-39 has that old feeling to it too. The walls are thick. The stairs are a bit narrow, but it serves us well for what we do. We spend most of our time on the phone or dealing with paperwork related to the agricultural trade. It’s not the kind of work that looks very exciting from the outside. There’s a lot of dust in the air around here. This is because of all the wholesale activity. We are always dusting off the desks and the files. We’ve been at this location for a long time. We’ve seen the market change quite a bit, though the noise stays about the same. We don’t have a big corporate lobby. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the internet goes out. Often the phones get fuzzy. We just have to wait it out like everyone else in the bazaar. We stay busy with the seasonal cycles of the crops. There’s always something that needs to be filed or moved. It is just basic daily work for us.
