Mahabir Parshad Pawan Kumar

We have been here at Chawri Bazar Main Road 31 for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, as anyone who knows this part of Delhi can tell you. The name Mahabir Parshad Pawan Kumar is just what it says on the sign outside. Usually, the day starts early here because the traffic in the main road gets heavy really fast. We spend most of our time dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a bit cramped inside sometimes with all the stuff, but that is how things are in this market. People walk in, they ask for what they need, and we try to find it in the stacks. Sometimes the fans are running full blast and it’s still hot, but we just keep going. You might see us sitting near the entrance chatting with the neighbors when it’s a bit quiet. It is not a fancy setup with glass windows or anything like that. Just a regular shop where we do our work every day. My father started things or maybe it was just passed down, I don't think about it much, we just show up. The address 31 on the main road is easy to find if you don't get lost in the crowd. Sometimes the tea guy comes by twice a day and that’s when we take a small break. We don't really do much advertising because most people just know where we are.
