Shree Krishna Udyog

Shree Krishna Udyog is located at Plot No. 1010 in Chawri Bazar. If you know Delhi, you know how tight the lanes are here. It is one of the oldest markets, and it feels like it sometimes. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We have been in this spot for years. It is always loud outside with the rickshaws and people shouting. Inside, it is a bit quieter, but not by much. We have stacks of items piled up everywhere. There is barely enough room to walk sometimes. We do not have a fancy showroom or air conditioning that works all the time. It is just a place where business gets done. People come in from all over to find specific things they cannot get elsewhere. We know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. We share tea and complain about the heat together. It is a hard place to work in some ways because of the congestion, but it is also where the history is. We do not do any marketing. We do not have to. People know where Plot 1010 is. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in. It is a very basic way of living, but it works for us and has for a long time.
