Balaji Sales

Balaji Sales is over at D -53 in Shiv Vihar, Karala. It’s a basic shop where we sell various supplies that folks around here need for their work. We started this place because we saw that people in Karala had to travel too far just to get simple items. We aren't a big chain or anything. It's just a small local business. The building is pretty plain and we keep the inventory on metal racks that we put up ourselves. It’s often a bit of a mess because we get shipments in almost every day and it takes time to put everything away. We don't have a fancy website or a sales team. If you want something, you usually just walk in or give us a ring on the landline. We spend a lot of our time helping customers figure out what they actually need for their repairs or projects. Sometimes we make mistakes with the billing and have to fix it by hand, but people around here are patient. We know most of our regulars by their first names. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when the delivery trucks are blocking the road. We just try to be helpful and keep the shelves stocked with the right stuff. The office desk is right at the front, and there is usually a stack of newspapers and some half-empty tea cups sitting there while we work.
