Shipra Hotels Limited

We are over here in Ram Nagar, right in the Shahdara area of Delhi. The building number is 1/3050 and that's where we do all our daily business for Shipra Hotels Limited. It is not some giant glass tower you see in the movies, just a regular place where we show up every morning. Living and working in Shahdara means you get used to the noise and the constant movement outside the doors. We spend most of our time keeping track of rooms and making sure things are running okay for whoever is staying with us. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we have to chase down a delivery, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to be the fanciest spot in the city, we just want to make sure the lights are on and the beds are ready. Most of us have lived in this part of Delhi for years so we know the local markets and the shortcuts around the traffic. When you walk into our office, you will probably see stacks of registers and a few of us drinking tea while we sort out the bookings. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do, we just get on with the job of running a hotel business in a busy neighborhood. It gets tiring but we like being part of the community here.
