Shazia Exports

Shazia Exports is tucked away in Kucha Chalan, right inside the No. 2632 building on Khajoor Wali Gali. If you have ever been to Darya Ganj, you know the streets are narrow and always full of people. We have been working out of this spot for quite a while now. It is a bit of a maze to get here, but it is where all our work happens. We mostly spend our time dealing with export orders and talking to people on the phone. The office is small and usually smells like old paper and tea. We do not have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It is just a place where we get the boxes packed and the labels stuck on. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit by the door for some light. It is noisy outside with the rickshaws and the vendors calling out, but we are used to it. We keep our records in big ledgers and on an old computer that takes its time. Working in Darya Ganj means you are part of the old city chaos, which we actually like. We move a lot of stuff through those narrow lanes every single week. It is hard work, especially when the weather is humid, but we just keep at it because the orders do not wait. We are just local folks running an export business from a very old part of town.
