Shangri-La Hotel Shanghai

Our Delhi office is tucked away in the Minto Road Complex at C-198. It’s a pretty central location, not too far from Connaught Place, but it feels a bit more secluded once you’re inside the complex. Even though the name is about a hotel in Shanghai, this is where we handle the local side of things here in New Delhi. It’s a basic office setup. We spend our days on the computer or talking to people on the phone about their travel plans and room bookings. The building is one of those older government-style complexes, so it has a certain character to it. It’s not all shiny and modern like the hotels themselves, but it’s sturdy and gets the job done. We’ve got a few desks and a small area for files. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that’s just life in this part of town. We don’t have a big marketing team here; it’s just us people who know the system and try to help out whenever someone calls in. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and making sure the numbers match up. It’s a quiet place to work compared to the busy streets outside. We like being near the heart of the city while having a bit of a tucked-away spot to focus on the work.
