Shangri-La Hotel New Delhi

Our office is tucked away on the ground floor over at B-2 in Shiddarth Nagar, right near the Ashram area of New Delhi. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, but we make it work for everything we need to do for the Shangri-La Hotel. Most of the time, we are busy with the administrative side of things, like managing reservations and talking to people on the phone about their stays. The traffic around Ashram can be quite a headache, especially during rush hour, so we are used to the noise of the city right outside our door. It is a simple setup here, nothing like the big grand lobbies you might see in the actual hotels. We have our files, our computers, and a small area where we sit and talk through the daily tasks. It is just a regular group of people working together to keep things organized. We spend a lot of time on the computer, checking dates and making sure the numbers match up. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the printer jams, but that is just how it goes in a normal office. We like being in this part of town because it feels very lived-in and real. There is always something happening on the street outside. We just focus on our work and try to stay on top of the bookings that come through every day.
