Shangri-La Hotel, New Delhi

Our office is over in East Patel Nagar, specifically at 31/6 on the first floor. It’s a pretty central part of New Delhi, so there’s always something happening outside on the street. People know the Shangri-La name, but here at this branch, we’re mostly focused on the practical side of things. We handle a lot of the bookings and coordination that keeps everything running. It’s not the actual hotel building you might be thinking of, but a dedicated space for the staff to manage the behind-the-scenes work. We’ve got desks, files, and phones that don’t seem to stop. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we get the job done. Working in Patel Nagar means we have plenty of spots to grab a quick tea or lunch nearby, which is nice. Most of us have been working together for a bit, so we know how to handle the busy seasons when the hotel gets packed. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to guests who have questions about their stay. It’s straightforward work, really. No need for anything too complicated. We just want to make sure the rooms are ready and the schedules are set. Being on the first floor makes it easy for visitors to drop by if they need to drop off documents or talk to us in person. It’s a solid, honest place to work and get things finished.
