Buddha Marbles

Buddha Marbles is our yard over at A-17b Sunder Block in Shakarpur. It’s a place where we keep various types of marble and stone slabs. If you come by, you'll see a lot of heavy stone sitting around under a simple roof. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy carpets or air conditioning. We get quite a bit of dust because moving and cutting stone is just a messy business. We’ve been here in Shakarpur for a good while. Most of the people who stop by are building their own houses or are contractors working on local projects. We don’t do any big speeches or sales pitches. We just show people what we have in stock and let them look at the patterns in the stone. Every piece of marble is a bit different, so it takes time to find the right one. Our office is just a small room with a wooden table and a few chairs where we handle the billing. We do most of our work by hand or with a simple crane to lift the slabs. It’s physical work and it can be tiring, but it’s what we know how to do. The neighborhood is mostly quiet compared to the big markets, which is nice. We just stay focused on our stock and helping the people who walk in.
