Balaji Marbles Granites

We’ve been running Balaji Marbles Granites for some time now. Our place is on Road No. 6, right along Main Loni Road in Saket. If you are coming by the metro, we are practically next to Metro Station Gate No.2, which makes it easy to find us even when the traffic is bad. Dealing with stone is heavy work. Most days are spent moving slabs around and keeping the dust under control. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a yard with a lot of marble and granite stacked up. People come in looking for stuff for their kitchens or floors, and we show them what we have in stock. The Loni Road area is always noisy with trucks and cars going by, but you get used to it after a few years. Sometimes the inventory is a bit messy, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of material. We mostly just focus on getting things loaded and unloaded without breaking anything. It’s a lot of physical labor, and the sun gets pretty hot out here on the road. We usually have tea in the afternoon when the shade finally hits the front of the shop. It’s a simple operation, really. Just a local spot where we handle stones and try to keep things moving. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot since we started here near the station and we just keep doing our thing.
