About Arihant Granite – Building & Construction Material in New Delhi
We've been at Building No. E-107 in Mansarover Garden for quite some time. Being in the basement near Indian Overseas Bank means it stays fairly cool, even during the summer months when the sun is hitting the pavement hard. We mostly handle granite slabs. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually a bit rough from moving the pieces around. People from the neighborhood stop by when they're fixing up their houses. We don't have a big sales team or fancy brochures. It is just a straightforward place where you can look at the stone and decide if it's what you need for your project. Sometimes the lighting down here isn't the best, so we often encourage people to take a small piece outside to see the real color in the sunlight. We try to keep the stacks organized, but with granite, that’s easier said than done. The traffic on this street can get a bit backed up, especially near the bank, but we’re used to the noise by now. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a steady one. Most days are spent checking the stock or talking to contractors who know exactly what they want. We don't use much technology here, just a notebook and some chalk to mark the slabs. It’s a simple way of working, but it has served us well for years. We just show up, do the lifting, and help the customers who walk through the door.
