Select Hotels

Our office for Select Hotels is at 53-B, Pocket A 11 in the Kalkaji Extension area of New Delhi. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving around, and we are right in the thick of it with the 110019 pin code. We manage several things from here, mostly involving the back-end stuff that keeps hotels running. We deal with room inventories, staff questions, and sometimes angry emails about something that went wrong at a property. It’s not always glamorous work, and the office can get pretty loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We’ve got a mix of young staff and people who have been around since the beginning. We don’t have a big corporate mission statement hanging on the wall; we just try to get through the daily list of tasks without making too many mistakes. Sometimes we go out for tea at the local stall to take a break from the screens. The space is a bit cluttered with old files and extra supplies, but we know where everything is. We like being in Kalkaji because it feels like a real community. We are just a group of people trying to make sure the hospitality side of things goes as smoothly as possible for the guests who stay with us. It’s a lot of juggling between different tasks, but we’re used to it by now.
